On the eve of Monterey Car Week, Danish automaker, Zenvo Automotive, revealed its latest and most powerful hypercar to date, the Aurora. Set to release in two distinct limited models, the Aurora stands as Zenvo’s most powerful and lightest build yet, melding innovation and design without compromise.
Christian Brandt, Zenvo’s Chief Designer, brought Danish design ethos to the hypercar realm with the Aurora, emphasizing the “form follows function” principle. The two variations, namely the Agil and Tur, have been simultaneously launched. While the aggressive Agil model weighs 1,300kg or 2,866 lbs and is aerodynamically tailored for track enthusiasts — the more elegantly styled Tur offers a focus on luxury combined with impressive high-speed stability.
Under the hood lies a MAHLE Powertrain’s 6.6-liter quad-turbocharged V12 engine combined with a lightweight electric motor, producing roughly 1,850hp. As a result, the mid-engined hybrid can go from 0 to 60mph in just under 2.3 seconds and can reach a top speed of 280mph.
Both the Agil and Tur models utilize aerodynamic chassis designs that manage airflow seamlessly, enhancing both downforce and stability. With its lightweight chassis employing Formula 1 technologies, airflow is directed through the structure to further bolster downforce and stability.
This debut also marks Zenvo’s first introduction of its ZM1 modular carbon monocoque system. Production of the Agil and Tur will be Limited to only 50 units for each model and is set to begin in 2026.
“Aurora will give drivers a different experience than they have ever experienced, and both models will deliver in different, very engaging, ways,” expressed Lluc Marti, Chief Executive Officer of Managing Composites.
