Zagato has just unveiled its 100th-anniversary sports car which pays homage to its history with Alfa Romeo. Named the Giulia SWB Zagato, this one-off takes the iconic stylings of classic Alfa Romeos like the Sprint Zagato and TZ3, and updates it for 2023.
Crafted for one lucky Alfa Romeo collector in Germany, the one-of-one sports car builds on the Giorgio platform and features a distinct snout, extra wide grille, carbon fiber bodywork, a dual exhaust, boomerang taillights, headlights borrowed from the Tonale, and a large clamshell hood.
The car itself is powered by a six-speed, 2.9 liter twin-turbo V-6 that puts down 533 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. “In the more than the 100-year glorious history of Alfa Romeo, no other company has contributed as much as Zagato, through 100 years of long and tireless collaboration,” comments Nori Harada, Zagato Vice President of Design. “The way the two companies work together changes with the times, but their shared passion for creating design marvels has always paved the way for new eras.”
There is currently no news on how much the collector paid for the one-off Alfa Romeo Giulia SWB Zagato.
