Zacari Rolls Solo on “Lonewolf Still”

Zacari Rolls Solo on "Lonewolf Still"

Zacari has unearthed his second single of 2024. Aptly entitled “Lonewolf Still,” the introspective offering finds the Top Dawg Entertainment rapper roaming through his raw emotions, reflecting on moments of independence and isolation.

“[I was] talking to myself in the middle of a storm,” Zacari noted of the track in a statement. “This song comes from a place of loneliness. There were a lot of emotions I had to work out on the mic in order to remember who I was.”

“Love song, I be posted up at the crossroads / Smoke one, put some in the air for the ghosts though / Lost souls out, smokin’ dope by lonesome / Lone wolf, why does all the best love die young,” he zones in on the chorus.

The nostalgia-infused Spencer Sease-directed visual continues to expound upon the song’s sentiment. Zacari strolls solo through the darkness, encountering a cave and an abandoned house along the way, with VHS footage interspersed throughout the gritty three-and-a-half-minute visual. Check it out in the gallery above.

“Lonewolf Still” arrives as Zacari readies to head out on the road with SiR for the fellow TDE talent’s Bad Karma Tour which kicks off in July.

“album otw,” he also indicated in a recent Instagram post…
