After releasing a slew of singles over the past month, current SPIN cover star Yungblud has revealed the details of his third studio album. Titled Yungblud, the record will be released on September 2 through Locomotion/Geffen Records.
The British rocker announced the album this morning, May 17, during a livestream of him getting a tattoo on his ribcage. The album follows 2020’s weird! and is available for pre-order.
More information and details about the self-titled album will be announced soon. Recently, Yungblud was praised by none other than Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger, who said that Yungblud (and Machine Gun Kelly) give “a bit of life in rock and roll.”
Yungblud is currently on a worldwide tour, which is his massive Life On Mars tour, and after playing here earlier this year, he’ll be back in the States this fall for a string of festival appearances. Festgoers can see Yungblud at Austin City Limits, Louder Than Life, Riot Fest, Music Midtown, and Firefly Music Festival later this year.
In his latest single, “Memories,” which released on May 5, Yungblud tapped Willow to support on the track and feature in its video. In March, he released an Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne-featured video for “The Funeral.”
