A month after the release of his sixth studio album I Got Issues, YG has announced that he’ll be heading on tour early next year. The Compton rapper will be embarking on The Red Cup Tour, a 17-stop nationwide run produced by Live Nation, in January 2023.
I Got Issues followed last year’s My Life 4Hunnid, delivering collaborations between YG and Roddy Ricch, Post Malone, H.E.R., J. Cole and Moneybagg Yo, among others. Standouts from the LP included the Nas-assisted “No Weapons” and an unexpected duo with Cuco called “I Dance.”
Kicking off on January 20 at Denver’s Fillmore Auditorium, fans will be able to see YG perform his latest project live. Following the Denver stop, he’ll perform shows in Salt Lake City and Garden City, then heading to major cities along the West Coast for the reaminer of the month.
After going east, YG will wrap up The Red Cup Tour in mid-February, stopping in New York and Boston before a final show in Honolulu.
D3szn, who appeared on I Got Issues, will support YG on the run, alongside OhGeesy and Day Sulan. Roc Nation rapper Kalan.frfr will also perform at select shows.
