Yeat Releases Fourth Studio Album '2093' Along With 2 Bonus Tracks

Yeat released his fourth studio album, 2093 on Friday. The follow-up to his breakthrough AftërLyfe LP, 2093 references a dystopian year in which Yeat serves as the CEO of a company called the Lyfestyle Corporation.

The concept-heavy rollout consisted of a series of propaganda videos, where the rapper lauds how the Lyfestyle Corporation can grant those involved a “better life.” The videos also featured “2093” projected on major landmarks in global cities, including London’s Big Ben and The Arc de Triomphe in Paris.

2093 spanned 22 songs across over an hour, offering lo-fi melodies and Yeat’s distinct style of laidback rapping. Guest features on the LP came courtesy of Lil Wayne and Future.

Just a day later, however, Yeat returned with 2093 (P2), which included two bonus tracks, “As We Speak” featuring Drake and “Never Quit.” The addition of those songs was described as the “second phase” of 2093, so fans should keep an eye out for what’s to come from the rapper and producer.
