Formula 1 has partnered with Kindred Concepts to launch the very first F1 arcade, an immersive state-of-the-art racing simulation venue featuring 60 motion F1 simulators accompanied by “best-in-class” food and beverage offerings. Spearheading the project is Kindred Concepts founder Adam Breeden, whose other innovative venues include Flight Club darts bar, bowling venue All Star Lanes, and multi-sensory bingo experience Hijingo.
The racing simulators are uniquely designed in conjunction with Formula 1, featuring immersive motion and audiovisual effects, meanwhile, the gameplay experience arrives courtesy of Motorsport Games via its RFactor2 simulation platform, allowing guests to choose from a variety of racing modes including individual, team-based group, and all-venue formats. The level of difficulty can be further adjusted to accommodate different ages and abilities.
Adding to the immersive concept are personal driver profiles and experience currency which can be spent by guests on unique prizes, elevations in the venue, and competition entries. The arcade will also host special experiences on Grands Prix weekends.
“We are very excited to introduce F1 Arcade, a brand-new premium entertainment venue that everyone can enjoy,” writes Brandon Snow, Managing Director of Commercial, Formula 1. “F1 Arcade is an ambitious project that will allow people to get even closer to the Formula 1 experience by giving guests the chance to get behind the wheel of bespoke racing simulators in stylish surroundings with a high-quality hospitality offering. Kindred Concepts and Formula 1 have worked tirelessly to ensure F1 Arcade will provide everyone who visits, fans and non-fans alike and regardless of age or ability, an incredible premium experience.”
Events and private bookings are available today via the F1 Arcade website.
