Nigerian music icon Wizkid has just won the 2021 MTV EMA award for “Best African Act”.
Today is the MTV EMA 2021 award ceremony and Wizkid has been announced as the winner in the “Best African Act” category. Earlier, the “Essence” crooner was nominated in the category and he was up against Tems, Diamond Platnumz, Amaarae, and Focalistic.
After amassing the highest number of votes from fans, Wizkid was declared the winner amongst his rivals. This would be one of other MTV EMAs the Starboy would be bagging.
