Starboy, Wizkid has just added another NAACP Image Awards to his list of trophies this March.
But more importantly, the singer is winning this award for the second time consecutively after winning the first in 2020.
He first won the NAACP Image Awards in 2020 under the category of “Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration” for his collaborative effort on Beyonce’s “Black Skin Girl”.
Wizkid bags home the award again at the 52nd edition in 2021 for the same song under another category which is the “Outstanding Visuals/Video Album of the Year”.
He was featured by Beyonce alongside her daughter Blue Ivy and Saint JHN on the same song that won a Grammy for all three of them including Blue Ivy who won her first Grammy as well.
While the Starboy is yet to conclude his excitement over a Grammy Win, he bags another award which he did in 2020 making him the first Nigerian music act to bag the awards at the NAACP twice.
