Whitney Announce New Album Spark and Tour, Share New Song: Listen

Whitney, the Chicago-based duo of Julien Ehlrich and Max Kakacek, have announced a new album: Spark is due out September 16 via Secretly Canadian. Whitney are previewing the record with lead single “Real Love” and a music video directed by Aaron Brown. Check it out below.

Spark is Whitney’s third studio album, following their 2019 sophomore effort Forever Turned Around. It’s billed as a reintroduction to the duo as Ehlrich and Kakacek explore the sound of “classic pop.”

This fall, Whitney plan to hit the road in support of their new album. Their North American and European tour kicks off on September 29 in Iowa and concludes in late December with a three-night run of shows in Chicago. Find the full list of tour dates below.
