Ahead of the Grammy awards on Sunday (March 14), we want to know: Who are you hoping Grammy voters chose to win best tropical Latin album?
This year, five vibrant albums are up for the golden gramophone, including Jose Alberto “El Ruisenor’s” Mi Tumbao, Edwin Bonilla’s Infinito, Jorge Celedon & Sergio Luis’ Sigo Cantando al Amor (Deluxe), Grupo Niche’s 40, and Victor Manuelle’s Memorias de Navidad.
Last year, the legendary afro-Colombian salsa group Grupo Niche took the Latin Grammy for salsa album with their 40th-anniversary album. Jorge Celedon and Sergio Luis’ joint set, Sigo Cantando al Amor (Deluxe), nabbed the award for cumbia/vallenato album.
