All hail the two new reigning queens of the Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart, as Dua Lipa and The Blessed Madonna’s Club Future Nostalgia debuted at No. 1 here last week, bumping Lady Gaga’s Chromatica to the No. 2 spot.
On Twitter, the producer called working on the album, “the thrill of my life” when the project levitated to the top spot.
The accomplishment marks both artist’s debut on this chart and has — along with a few other newbies — created some shifts in the top 10. Disclosure’s third LP, Energy, also debuted on the chart last week, landing at No. 3. Meanwhile, Gorillaz’ D-Sides re-entered at No. 4.
