Samsung is leading the charge to cater to Gen Z and young millennials’s creative passions. Alongside the electronic brand’s “Do More. Be More.” campaign messaging, Samsung revamped its Future Gen House from last year and made it more creator-focused. With this in mind, the smart home, “provides various products and functions that help enable creators to create fun, organic content,” according to Samsung. It’s all about being able to “Live your free,” Samsung adds, reflecting the house’s mission to let anyone living in it fully express themselves through the comfort and ease-of-use of the Samsung products inside the Future Gen House.
The 24 participants who were invited to stay at the Future Gen House consisted of Gen Z and young millennials. They varied in cultural backgrounds, tastes, lifestyles and experiences – this included actual Samsung employees in their 20s, college students and professional content creators. They were all encouraged to develop content that reflected their personal interests and passions.
What’s inside the Future Gen House?
Designed to be smart, comfortable and functional for all of its guests, the Future Gen House is equipped with Samsung’s technology-focused products that cater to the audience’s everchanging passions and interests, especially when it comes to content creation. There are basic living spaces such as a living room, kitchen and bedroom, but there are other more creative-focused areas such as a gym, game room, music room and an outdoor camping ground.
As for appliances and equipment, the Future Gen House featured Samsung’s BESPOKE refrigerators, The Freestyle beam projector, eco-friendly Samsung Eco-Friends accessories and more. All of these state-of-the-art products were readily available for use by invited guests to create content. The entirety of the home was not only built to let anyone become more familiar with Samsung’s existing products and services, but it’s also geared towards personal liberation and not letting future creators adhere to traditional career paths.

Samsung’s Future Gen House is the future of home living, not only in terms of functionality as a smart home everyone can enjoy, but also as an everyday tool for creating content. Today’s generation makes it a priority to produce images, videos, podcasts and more to let others view their lives, especially if they’re experts on certain interests. With Samsung’s myriad of smart products, everything is literally just a push of a button away to produce content that will engage and inspire others.
