The White Lotus, the acclaimed class satire from Mike White, is set to return with its third season on February 16th. The full-length trailer has arrived for the new installment, this time set in Thailand. Watch it below.
While the initial teaser for Season 3 offered glimpses into another luxurious hotel, the new trailer sheds more light on the intersecting plot lines in store, including a girls’ trip that uncovers old wounds, a family hurtling toward financial ruin, and a couple with a noticeable age gap navigating different approaches to life. Outside the idyllic setting of the luxury resort, crime is on the rise, and a masked gunman encounters some of this season’s central characters.
Parker Posey, Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Walton Goggins, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and Michelle Monaghan are among the actors who make up this season’s newcomers, while Natasha Rothwell, who has appeared in both previous seasons of the anthology, acts as a connector. The trailer reveals that her character, Belinda, has been sent to train at the spa in Thailand’s White Lotus location, to then bring the techniques home to Maui, where the first season took place. A very brief shot of a body bag indicates that The White Lotus resort franchise may be plagued with another dramatic death.

Meanwhile, the trailer also teased Lisa of BLACKPINK (making her acting debut in the show) in her element: on stage, in costume, and dancing.
