Following rumors of the upcoming R36, British automotive YouTube channel CarWow put together a head-to-head between the existing generations of the Nissan GT-R. From R32 to R35, the drag race between generations aims to highlight the technological advancements seen in each car.
For the R32, R33 and R34, they are all powered by the famed RB26DETT, 2.6-liter twin-turbo straight-six engines, which push out 280 horsepower. While the R35 NISMO features a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 packing 600 horsepower and 650Nm of torque. Unexpectedly, the R35 NISMO finished first with the R32, R33, and R34 coming in quite close to one another thanks to varied weights and torque outputs.
