Squid Game season two is on the way, arriving on December 26. Netflix has dropped a teaser for the highly-anticipated second run of the elimination-style survival drama, which made its debut in 2021.
The first season of the South Korean show left off with Seong Gi-hun (played by Lee Jung-jae) seemingly gearing up to enact revenge on the game’s organizers for the death of his allies.
In the teaser, another iteration of the game is underway as a group of guards in red jumpsuits enters a room. Another cut sees a masked figure enter a room, where individuals on computers appear to be working on orchestrating the game behind the scenes.
“We’re ready to start the game,” a guard says.
Seong Gi-hun also returns, pointing a gun at one of the masked guards.
