The official trailer for the fourth part of the final season of Attack on Titan has been released. The anime took to Twitter to reveal the teaser, giving fans a glimpse of what to expect for the finale.
Studio MAPP animates the highly-anticipated finale of Attack on Titan is animated under Yuichiro Hayashi. The trailer was shown early at the MAPPA and Crunchyroll panel at Anime Expo 2023 and is narrated by Armin, featuring English subtitles. The third part of the finale aired as a one-hour special on March 3 with Crunchyroll streaming the anime along with Hulu.
The transcript of the trailer unveils a teaser to the plot which reads, “I was racing Eren and Mikasa…racing to the tree on the hill. I felt so good just running. In that moment, this thought just entered my head that maybe I had been born to race Mikasa and Eren on this hill. I’ll see you again, Eren.” Director Hayashi noted that this is the first key visual is the first to not feature any of the titans. Attack on Titan is based on the manga series by Hajime Isayama which was serialized in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine from 2009 to 2021. The fourth part is expected to release in the Fall.
