Rockstar Games dropped off the official trailer for its upcoming Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy — The Definitive Edition, providing a first look at several graphical and gameplay improvements to each included title.
In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Grand Theft Auto III, Rockstar has remastered the game, along with Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, with across-the-board upgrades. The new edition features “graphical improvements and modern gameplay enhancements for all three titles, while still maintaining the classic look and feel of the originals,” according to the company.
The gamer has removed existing versions of the game from digital retailers in preparation for the remastered trilogy’s launch. As part of the anniversary celebration, Rockstar will be unveiling a selection of special gear for players to collect in Grand Theft Auto Online during several events this fall.
Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy — The Definitive Edition will launch digitally on November 11 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and the Rockstar Games Launcher on PC for $59.99 USD. The trilogy will receive a physical release on December 7, followed by iOS and Android editions in the first half of 2022.
