Paramount Pictures has unveiled the final trailer for the upcoming Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. The film is the first film that is planned for the live-action Transformers franchise.
The film is set to be a summer blockbuster and arrives a year from its original June 24, 2022 release date. The studio describes the film as seeing the world return to the action and spectacle brought on by auto transforming robots. Transformers: Rise of the Beasts takes audiences on a ’90s globetrotting adventure and introduce Maximals, Predacons and Terrorcons to the existing battle on earth between Autobots and Decepticons. The plot follows an unsuspecting human and how they ended up becoming one of the most important participants in the longstanding Cybertronian war. Noah Diaz, played by Anthony Ramos, finds himself boosting cars with his friends Reek played by Tobe Nwigwe. The adventure begins when he picks up the courage to do so for the first time and the car comes alive.
The film is directed by Steven Caple Jr. and stars a big cast that consists of Peter Cullen, Ron Perlman, Pete Davidson, Anthony Ramos, Dominique Fishback, Tobe Nwigwe, Peter Dinklage, Michelle Yeoh, Liza Koshy, John DiMaggio, David Sobolov, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, and Cristo Fernández. Transformers: Rise of the Beasts arrives in theaters on June 9, 2023.
