Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell are looking for ways to save their jobs from being taken over by robots in the upcoming Paramount+ comedy sequel Good Burger 2.
Directed by Phil Traill, the film centers around Thompson and Mitchell’s iconic Dexter and Ed characters as they reunite as colleagues at Good Burger. The pair attempts to help the struggling fast food establishment all while trying to keep their jobs as the parent company has different plans to grow the brand. The trailer shows the two leads reconnect as they learn that MegaCrop is planning on expanding Good Burger internationally by firing the restaurant’s staff. Dexter (Thompson) warns, “MegaCorp wants to replace everybody with robots. We gotta do something!”
Thompson and Mitchell have Jillian Bell and Lil Rel Howery as co-stars while Kevin Kopelow and Heath Seifert penned the script with John Ryan Jr. as the executive producer. The film is the follow-up to the initial 1997 Paramount Pictures feature Good Burger. The sequel lands on the platform on November 22. Watch the trailer above.
