Billie Eilish performed “Happier Than Ever” tonight at the 2022 Grammys. Joined by Finneas, she sang the title track to her sophomore album Happier Than Ever while wearing a shirt featuring a photo of the late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins. Eilish began the performance inside a flooded upside-down living room and eventually exited to join her brother on the roof of the building as it rained, mirroring the song’s music video.
As she comes off the back of her Best Original Song Oscar win, Eilish is up for seven gongs, including three of the Big Four, at this year’s Grammys. Happier Than Ever is up for Album of the Year, while its title track received nods in the Song and Record of the Year categories. The title track is also nomination for Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Music Video, and the album has a Best Pop Vocal Album nod, too. Her concert film Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles is nominated in the Best Music Film category.
