Billie Eilish headlined Coachella last night, and she brought out a few special guests. Blur and Gorillaz frontman Damon Albarn came out for a rendition of her Happier Than Ever track “Getting Older.” Albarn remained onstage as the first notes of Gorillaz’s “Feel Good Inc.” poured from the sound system. De La Soul’s Pos joined in to deliver his lines from the original track. Eilish ended her set by saying, “Thank you Coachella! I’m sorry I’m not Beyoncé! I love you, good night!” Watch clips from the set below, and follow all of our Coachella 2022 coverage.

Albarn recently covered “Getting Older.” “This is the craziest shit I’ve ever experienced,” Eilish said of Albarn joining her onstage, as Brooklyn Vegan points out. “This man changed my life in a lot of ways, and changed my complete view of what music could be, what art could be, and what creation could be. My first favorite band ever was the Good, The Bad and The Queen when I was six years old and Blur changed the world and fucking Gorillaz changed the world and this man is literally a genius, and that’s that.”

Elsewhere in her set, Eilish brought out Khalid for a performance of their 2018 single “Lovely.” She also performed songs from her latest album, such as “Oxytocin” and the title track, and older songs like “Ocean Eyes” and “I Love You.” Eilish’s brother Finneas joined her for an acoustic rendition of the latter song.

Eilish last performed at Coachella in 2019. She was nominated across seven categories at the 2022 Grammy Awards. Happier Than Ever was up for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album. The album’s title track got nods in four categories: Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Best Music Video. Eilish was also nominated for Best Music Film for Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles. She did not take home any awards, but did play “Happier Than Ever” during the show.

In March, Eilish and Finneas’ James Bond theme “No Time to Die” took home the trophy for Best Original Song at the 2022 Oscars.
