Vorsteiner’s Wide Body Kit Makes for One Angry Looking BMW M2

Vorsteiner's Wide Body Kit Makes for One Angry Looking BMW M2

The ever-divisive styling of BMW cars continues to split automotive fans across the globe, with the only thing being more controversial than the updated M3 and M4 being the marque’s M2 G87. Some liked the small kidney grille at the front, others hated the rear-end aesthetic, but none of that matters anymore because the modification company Vorsteiner has given the little M car a beefy overhaul.

Vorsteiner’s kit is dubbed the “GT Edition,” comprising of an aerodynamic update and a new set of rims. Specifically, we find a new front end punctuated by a carbon fiber splitter, grille surround, and a Vorsteiner badge; a new front hood sporting a deep central duct flanked by two louvered vents; vented wide wheel arches at the front; a new set of carbon fiber side skirts; a ducktail spoiler; and a new rear diffuser, also in carbon fiber.

All the pieces are made using “the latest composite technology and design,” featuring pre-preg carbon fiber fabrication. As for the wheels, Vorsteiner offers split-piece rims in chrome and bronze, offsetting the M2’s signature blue shade.
