Volkswagen has unveiled the refreshed 2025 Taos, bringing a bolder look, enhanced technology and increased power to its compact SUV. The new model features a redesigned front bumper, an updated grille with an available light bar and standard LED projector headlights across all trims, giving the vehicle a sportier presence. The rear is updated with connected taillights and an illuminated Volkswagen logo, adding to the design.
Inside, the 2025 Taos receives a sleek dashboard upgrade with an integrated 8-inch floating infotainment display standard on all models. Enhanced materials, colors and acoustic dampening make for a more refined cabin experience, while optional touch controls for the HVAC system are available on higher trims.
Under the hood, the Taos now boasts a revised 1.5L turbocharged engine, producing 174 hp, up from 158. All-wheel-drive models benefit from a switch to an eight-speed automatic transmission, promising smoother handling. Volkswagen’s suite of IQ.DRIVE driver assistance features are included on all trims, offering semi-automated driving assistance, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control and more.
The 2025 Taos will be available in new colors like Bright Moss Green and Monterey Blue Pearl and will hit U.S. dealerships by the end of the year, with pricing to be announced soon.
