vivo has unveiled the Y30 smartphone in Kenya – just one month after it announced the launch of the V19.
The tech manufacturer says that the Y30 smartphone combines its Ultra O Screen, AI Quad Camera and 5000 mAh battery in a high-end device with a unique body structure and moderate price tag.
Chronicling the brand’s growth, Arthur Xian, CEO of vivo Kenya, highlighted the company’s efforts to make revolutionary smartphones that will usher smartphone enthusiasts into an era of endless possibilities on mobile devices and exceptional photography experiences.
“The flexible display and design market this 2020 is growing unexpectedly. The technology is expected to expand further and diverse. Our goal is to dominate in the flexible display market by introducing new products with enhanced performance and differentiated designs at an affordable price this year.”
The Y30 will feature a fingerprint sensor on the back as well as a 6.47-inch full-screen display on the front with 720×1560 pixels screen resolution having an 82.9 per cent screen-to-body ratio. The device also sports 4GB RAM + 128GB storage.
vivo V19 Smartphone Officially Available in Kenya
vivo has announced that its V19 smartphone would be officially available in Kenya – after initially launching the device in June and then pushing back the release.
The V19 – vivo’s first-ever Dual Punch Hole Camera phone – will retail for Kshs 40,999 and come in either Gleam Black or Sleek Silver.
The vivo V19 comes with an Ultra O Screen design with an in-display fingerprint sensor under the AMOLED screen of the phone. It sports a dual front camera which comprises of a 32MP main camera and an 8MP super wide-angle while the Quad Camera at the rear is made up of a 48MP main camera, 8MP super wide-angle camera, 2MP macro camera, and 2MP Bokeh camera.
