Vincent Tsang Releases a Laid-Back Amorphous Sculpture

When Vincent Tsang isn’t working as the artistic director of streetwear outfit, DIME, he creates doodle figures that reference his far-reaching interests across skateboarding, art, fashion, and music.

For his latest release, the Montreal-based artist and designer worked with fellow-Quebec studio, Letter Bet, on a new amorphous sculpture. Tsang has grown an affinity for ceramics and brings his care-free character to life through a resin and sandstone mixture that is both tactile to touch and pleasing to the eye.

Abstract, yet figurative, contemplative, but jovial — the piece is the latest exploration into forms that can be seen in other recent paintings that gives the viewer a similar aesthetic feel of legendary Spanish artist, Joan Miró. The handmade sculpture is an edition of 50 and is available to purchase via Letter Bet for $240 USD.

Elsewhere, Devin Troy Strother will open a new solo exhibition titled “Undercover Brother.”
