Nigerian musician Sound Sultan has been laid to rest shortly after his demise according to Islamic rites.
Earlier, we shared the news that singer Sound Sultan died after a brief battle with cancer at the age of 44. The news of his death hit hard, as many mourned the late singer and sportsman.
Sound Sultan’s music career spanned over 2 decades with a prolific discography. Many colleagues, fans and sympathisers shared eulogies and tributes after his family announced his death.
Shortly after his death, Sound Sultan’s body was buried in New Jersey, United States according to Islamic rites. At his burial were his close friends and family.
His wife was spotted crying as his body was being lowered into the ground. Sound Sultan is survived by his wife, 3 children, brothers and sisters and other relations.
