Vans Unveils Poster Series to Celebrate Latinx Heritage Month

Vans has launched a new series of posters designed by rising visual artists to celebrate Latinx Heritage Month. The project is part of the “So Much More” initiative, and showcases work by four young Latinx creatives — Marisa Fulper, Camilo Medina, Tatee Garcia and Daniel Gibson — each of whom has designed one poster.

Each artist was given the brief of what Latino culture means to them, which has been interpreted in different ways with references to food, traditions, symbols and more. Imagery in the work ranges from Marisa Fulper’s “Tree of Life” imagery, to the “piñata of my dreams” curated by Tatee Garcia under the “Elloo” pseudonym.

All four posters will be available at Vans stores across the U.S., including the label’s locations in Chicago, Miama, L.A., New York and more.

In other art news, the Plated Project is selling miniature ceramic artworks to fight world hunger.
