V of BTS has shared two remixes of his hit single “Slow Dancing.” True to its name, the original version of the track is an ethereal, softly sung ballad.
On the remixes, however, two producers were brought in to give V’s gentle vocals a twist. The K-pop artist enlisted DJ FRNK and singer and producer Cautious Clay.
The DJ FRNK edition makes use of an afro rhythm to bring the energy levels up a notch, turning “Slow Dancing” into more of a groovy, dance track.
Cautious Clay, meanwhile, draws on his background as an accomplished instrumentalist to infuse the song with flute, keys and drums. The resulting product is a layered symphony of both vocals and masterfully harmonized instruments.
“Slow Dancing” comes off of V’s debut solo album Layover, which was released last month through Big Hit.
