Developed by UPspec Gaming, the xScreen is a new fully integrated piece of hardware that attaches to Xbox Series S, transforming the console into a laptop-style unit. The improved console can then be brought on the go and utilized anywhere there is a power outlet.
With a 1080p 60hz resolution screen, the 11.6 inches (295 mm) screen fits the maximum dimensions of the Series S footprint. It comes with integrated stereo speakers and built-in controls for screen settings and volume. Attaching the screen is easy and requires no additional cables other than the original Xbox power cable.
Sold on UPspec’s website, the xScreen is priced at $249.99 USD per unit, which is almost as much as the Series S itself. Buyers also have the option to purchase add-ons such as swapping the colored latches, a “stand-mode” orientation accessory and a carrying case.
In other gaming news, Call of Duty: Mobile is hosting a 2022 World Championship with a $2 million USD prize pool.
