Tyler, the Creator has joined forces with Houston rapper Maxo Kream on a new track, titled “Big Persona.”
The single arrives with an accompanying music video, in which Kream and the Odd Future alum rap about their riches in front of a white Rolls-Royce. “Million for the summer house / Love it when the sun be out / ‘Cause we be out / Ridin’ around in that thing with the center roof,” Tyler sings in the first verse.
Following the chorus, Kream takes over with his opening verse, rapping, “Maxo Biggie Poppa, who you know that do it better? / I’m the trap Barack Obama, Betty Crocker, used to pedal.” Between close-up shots of iced-out jewelry and bands of cash, the visual then concludes while the two artists sing their final bars into the camera.
Earlier this summer, Kream put out “Local Joker,” an ode to his late brother and his first new solo effort since Brandon Banks in 2019, before hopping on Wale’s “Down South” with Texas rapper Yella Breezy. In October, Krema will debut his upcoming album, dubbed Weight of the World.
Meanwhile, Tyler is hot on the heels of his highly-acclaimed album, Call Me If You Get Lost, which debuted at No. 1 following its release. The chart-topper has since announced a North American tour, slated to commence in February 2022 with a total of 34 stops.
