After popping out at Kendrick Lamar‘s Ken & Friends Kia Forum extravaganza last night, Tyler, the Creator has unfortunately decided to cancel his scheduled headlining performances at Lollapalooza and Outside Lands.
“i hate saying this but i have to cancel lollapalooza and outside lands,” he shared in a message on X.
“i made a commitment that i can no longer keep, and that bums me out knowing how excited folks were. that is not sexy at all. please please forgive me or call me names when you see me in person. love.”

The Creator was slated to take Chicago’s Lollapalooza (Thursday, August 1 – Sunday, August 4) main stage as Thursday night’s headliner and has since been replaced with Megan Thee Stallion.
As for Outside Lands (Friday, August 9 – Sunday, August 11), the rapper’s Saturday night Land’s End Stage set was swapped with Sabrina Carpenter. He is still expected to headline Austin City Limits in October.
