While Coachella‘s 2024 lineup remains under wraps four months ahead of the festival, industry trade HITS Daily Double has offered up some insight regarding this year’s headliners. The reputable trade reports that Tyler, the Creator and Lana Del Rey are “confirmed” to headline the festival this April.
“Rumor has it that Lana Del Rey and Tyler, The Creator are confirmed to headline Coachella 2024,” the post reads. And the third spot…
“Doja Cat is believed to be the third headliner, though we’re told she is not yet confirmed.”
And that’s not all HITS Daily Double had to reveal, pointing to Peso Pluma as another artist who is “in the mix,” also noting this year’s lineup boasts the “most diverse undercard yet in terms of both genre and global representation.”
Dua Lipa allegedly “demurred due to timing,” whereas Shakira‘s team was vying for a headlining slot that the festival ultimately declined. Rage Against the Machine was slated to return to the Indio grounds as 2024 headliners, but as of this week’s news, that no longer seems to be in the cards.
Other headline contenders include The Rolling Stones, Olivia Rodrigo and Travis Scott.
Coachella 2024 takes over Indio, California’s Empire Polo Club April 12 – 14, and April 19 – 21. Stay tuned to Hypebeast for more details on the festival as they emerge.
