In a move to further solidify its foothold in the thriving African music landscape, Australia’s Tuned Global has been actively increasing its presence in the African music scene through strategic collaborations with key players, including WAW MUZIK, Sewasew Multimedia and Tieme Music.

The latest addition to Tuned Global’s roster of partnerships in Africa is with Jumamo, a streaming service that seeks to promote local repertoire and uplift African artists. Notably, Jumamo has introduced what it claims to be the first online radio platform that compensates both artists for their streams and playlist curators for the popularity of their curated playlists.

“At Jumamo, we’ve worked to create a music experience that really focuses on the music and artists important to Nigerian and African music lovers, while ensuring our app works perfectly for our customers,” said Chinedu Chukwuji, Director of Jumamo.

“We’re gearing up for our launch, a day that’s come far more quickly than anticipated thanks to Tuned Global, who have helped us get the right content to music fans in a smooth and seamless way.”
