BTS took home four awards at the 2020 MTV Europe Music Awards on Sunday night (Nov. 8), and dedicated their top prize to the ARMY.
Upon winning best song for their No. 1 hit “Dynamite,” the group gave their excited acceptance speech via satellite. “This means so much for us because we really wanted to enjoy this song with our fans in this difficult time,” they said. “So we want to dedicate this award to them. Because they deserve it.”
In addition to best song, the K-pop idols took home the trophy for best group for the third consecutive year, as well as best virtual live and biggest fans. They were also nominated for best pop, but lost out to Little Mix, who served as hosts for the evening’s socially-distanced awards show.
