Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have struck Golden Globe gold for the third time, winning the 2025 award for Best Original Score for their work on Luca Guadagnino’s Challengers.
The Nine Inch Nails members previously won Golden Globes for Best Original Score for The Social Network in 2010 and Soul in 2020. The duo was also nominated for Best Original Song at this year’s Golden Globes for their Challengers track, “Compress / Repress,” but lost to “El Mal” from Emilia Perez.
Reznor and Ross, Consequence’s 2024 Composers of the Year, will look to add to their trophy case at the 2025 Academy Awards, as they’re on the shortlist for both Best Original Score and Original Song.
