After Travis Scott was seen stopping by the Houston Astros dugout earlier this week to hang out with his home team, speak to the media, and allegedly play his upcoming UTOPIA album for the team to hear, Mike Dean now reveals that he’s currently putting the finishing touches on the album, sharing a screenshot of the masters.
UTOPIA, which was first teased in 2021, follows Scott’s breakout LP Astroworld and is said to feature new material with Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Kid Cudi, and Pharrell. While an official release date has yet to be officially set, Epic Records chairperson Sylvia Rhone shared that Scott’s latest album is expected to come in June. In addition to the teaser from Dean, viral images also recently surfaced of Scott’s bodyguard holding a briefcase handcuffed to his wrists with “Utopia” sharpied on the outside, adding fuel to the rumors.
Stay tuned for more details to surface in the coming weeks.
