Travis Scott officially set a new record for most tour merchandise sold in just one night as he gets on with his North American UTOPIA – CIRCUS MAXIMUS tour.
The artist’s team announced that he sold more than $1 million USD worth of tour merch during his two shows at Denver’s Bell Arena over the weekend and at the Dallas American Airlines Center just last week. In addition, Scott is the first rapper to ever headline and sell out SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles while his ongoing engagement has grossed over $80 million USD to become his biggest tour to date.
The tour is in support of his latest album UTOPIA, which has achieved a number of feats itself — the record is the biggest-selling hip-hop album of the year, the first in five years to spend a full month atop the Billboard charts and earned the biggest debut in vinyl sales for a rap album in one week since 1991.
