Travis Scott and Pharrell Spotted Working Together on ‘Utopia’

Since Travis Scott announced his return to live performance with two sold-out shows at the O2 Arena in London and his Las Vegas residency slated to begin in September, fans have been anticipating the drop of his upcoming album Utopia.

Over the weekend, La Flame was spotted in the studio with Pharrell. HipHopDX was the first to report on the meet-up when the photo of the pair smiling ear-to-ear in th studio began circling online. It appears that spirits were high as they continue “cooking up in the studio.”

Pharrell has appeared on many of Travis Scott’s albums including the expanded edition of Rodeo in 2015 for “Flying High.” Pharrell has also appeared as a guest feature on “Skeletons” with The Weeknd and Tame Impala. While the official Utopia album date has not yet been revealed, Scott has been dropping a series of teasers, hinting that the album is imminent. During his sold-out shows at the O2 Arena in London, he debuted two new tracks, “God’s Country” and “Lost Forever.” It is uncertain if Pharrell will be spitting bars on a new track or if he will be featured as a producer on his album.

In other music news, Lil Wayne has pushed his annual New Orleans Music Festival to October.
