Looks like Swifties have adopted the team of Taylor Swift’s rumored boyfriend Travis Kelce. After the two were spotted together at a Kansas City Chiefs game, sales of Kelce’s 87 jersey enjoyed a 400% spike, TMZ reports.
“Yesterday, Travis Kelce was one of the top 5 selling NFL players and saw a nearly 400% spike in sales throughout the Fanatics network of sites, including NFLShop.com,” the NFL merchandise partner told the website.
While Swift herself wasn’t wearing the tight end’s number, she was donning Kansas City’s red and white colors and even enjoying a box seat next to Kelce’s mother, Donna. After the game, the couple left together in the athlete’s convertible.

Swift and Kelce’s romance comes after Kelce attended the singer’s “Eras Tour” concert in Kansas City and gifted her a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it. According to the football player, he later told Swift that he’d seen her “rock a stage in Arrowhead and she might have to come see me rock the stage at Arrowhead” as well.
Swifties can cheer on Kelce themselves by picking up tickets to the Kansas City Chiefs’ upcoming games here.
The pairing comes after Swift’s brief fling with The 1975’s Matty Healy. She previously dated Joe Alwyn from 2016 to Spring 2023.
With such an intense fan base, this isn’t the first time Swift has spurred huge numbers of listeners to act. Just last week, 35,000 people registered to vote after the pop star posted about National Voter Registration Day on Instagram.
