STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Two of the three bridges connecting Staten Island to New Jersey will experience lane closures during the upcoming week.
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has announced various lane closures for the Bayonne and Goethals Bridges for the week starting Monday, Nov. 13.
The Bayonne Bridge will experience both midday and overnight closures, while closures on the Goethals Bridge are reserved for overnight hours.
BAYONNE BRIDGE
On Monday, Nov. 13, and Tuesday, Nov. 14, one New Jersey-bound lane and one Staten Island-bound lane will be closed simultaneously from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
Additionally, from Monday, Nov. 13, at 10 p.m., until Tuesday, Nov. 14, at 5 a.m., two Staten Island-bound left toll lanes will be closed.
From Tuesday, Nov. 14, at 10 p.m., until Wednesday, Nov. 15, at 5 a.m., two Staten Island-bound right toll lanes will be closed.
GOETHALS BRIDGE
From Wednesday, Nov. 15, until Thursday, Nov. 16, at 5 a.m., three Staten Island-bound right toll lanes will be closed.
“For the week of Nov. 10 to 16, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey encourages all travelers who use the agency’s facilities to plan ahead and consider additional travel time due to the lane closures,” the Port Authority wrote.
