Toyota has now unveiled its 2023 Sequoia SUV.
Receiving a series of welcome upgrades, the new three-row SUV carries the same twin-turbo V6 hybrid i-FORCE MAX engine as the Tundra, capable of generating a combined 436 horsepower and 583 pound-feet of torque through either a two-wheel-drive system or a part-time four-wheel-drive option. The powertrain works in tandem with a brand new rack-mounted electric power steering system, an independent front suspension and multi-link rear suspension, and the optional Adaptive Variable Suspension and Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension configurations.
With new tech installed, the Sequoia will also come with Toyota Safety Sense 2.5, a package that consists of a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Front and Rear Parking Assist with Automatic Braking, a Blind Spot Monitor, Rear Cross Traffic Alerts, Automatic High Beams, Road Sign Assist, and Dynamic Rader Cruise Control with both Lane Departure Alerts and Steering Assist.
As for its interiors, the SUV is equally decked out for a premium riding experience, filling the cabin with enough room for either a bench or captain’s chairs in the second row and a sliding third row that allows for Toyota’s Adjustable Cargo Shelf System. Up front, there’s the option of a 14-inch touchscreen console powered by Toyota Audio Multimedia with full voice controls, cloud-based navigation, WiFi and 4G network connections, built-in Apple Music and Amazon Music, and of course wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Available in an SR5, Limited, Platinum or Capstone trim, Toyota’s 2023 Sequoia SUV will reach dealerships this summer.
