Halloween is over and one Cincinnati radio station is already in the Christmas spirit.
Star 93.3 (WAKW-FM), a listener-supported Christian music station, began playing Christmas music this week. The station’s program, posted on its website, lists songs like “Sleigh Ride,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” as recently played tunes.
According to News 5 (WLWT-TV), the radio station started playing Christmas music on Wednesday.
On Facebook, Star 93.3 acknowledged that some listeners might not be ready for round-the-clock Christmas music. The radio station will continue to play Christmas music leading up to the holiday, but wrote on Facebook that listeners can hear other music online and through its app.
