Tommy Boy receives 4K Ultra HD release for 30th anniversary

The Chris Farley and David Spade buddy comedy Tommy Boy has been released on 4K Ultra HD for its 30th anniversary.

Available as a limited edition Steelbook or 4K/Blu-ray combo, the film was remastered under the supervision of director Peter Segal. Bonus content includes director commentary, deleted and extended scenes, alternate takes, a gag reel, and the theatrical trailer.

Debuting in theaters on March 31st, 1995, Tommy Boy paired the Saturday Night Live alumni as traveling salesman Tommy Callahan III (Farley) and his father’s assistant Richard Hayden (Spade), who go on a road trip to save the Callahan family’s auto parts business.

Though Tommy Boy received mixed reviews and earned a modest $32.7 million at the global box office, it has become a cult classic over the past few decades.
