During a recent interview, Jacob Batalon, who plays Peter Parker’s faithful friend Ned in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, revealed that co-star Tom Holland‘s desire to play another hero.
Batalon noted that the British actor “talks about being James Bond a lot,” reiterating the fact with “a lot a lot.” It seems as though Holland along with many other actors in Hollywood currently have their sights set on the empty role of 007. Currently, the role and future of the James Bond franchise remain unknown following the departure of Daniel Craig‘s final performance in No Time To Die.
Recently, Tom Holland noted that with the end of Marvel Studios‘ Spider-Man trilogy would be “the end of a franchise.” Adding, “I think if we were lucky enough to dive into these characters again, you’d be seeing a very different version… It would no longer be the Homecoming trilogy.” With the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Tom Holland’s contract with Marvel Studios will come to an official end.
