Tinashe is a woman of many talents. Since breaking into the music industry in 2007, the artist has worn the hats of singer, songwriter, dancer, producer and more. From her own projects to others, the Lexington, Kentucky-born, but California-raised artist has worked with the likes of Kaytranada, Ty Dolla &ign, Offset, Future, Little Dragon, A$AP Rocky and more. In continuing her music journey, Tinashe has taken her talent to NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series.
For her concert, Tinashe performed “Treason,” “Unconditional,” “Touch & Go” and “2 On.” Offering a mix of old and new, the songs come from her albums, BB/Ang3l, 333, Songs for You and Aquarius. Alongside singing of course, the concert sees Tinashe play the xylophone. The dynamic performance is complimented by the band which consists of a violin, cello, electric and bass guitars, drums, a piano and a mandolin.
Alongside the release of her Tiny Desk Concert, Tinashe just performed at Terminal West in New York City yesterday as a part of her BB/Ang3l tour.
