Fans of Timothée Chalamet will have the opportunity to hear the actor sing in his highly-anticipated role in the Bob Dylan biopic.
Director James Mangold will be helming the film centered on the early years of Dylan’s career in New York. Mangold recently revealed in an interview with Collider that the biopic would likely start filming in August of this year. Asked if Chalamet would be singing during scenes of Dylan performing, Mangold told the publication, “Of course!”
The Bob Dylan biopic was first announced over three years ago in January 2020. Chalamet will be starring alongside a cast that includes Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger and Joan Baez.
Mangold is also working on the fifth and final Indiana Jones installment, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, which will arrive in theaters on June 30.
