Big Whack is back! Philadelphia rapper Tierra Whack took to her socials earlier today to announce that she has a project dubbed World Wide Whack on the way.
“I really took my time with this, so I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do,” Whack wrote, dropping off some album imagery “brought to life” by Alex Da Corte, who previously directed the video for her 2020 cut “Dora.”
Whack also refers to the album as her “debut album,” despite dropping off her acclaimed debut Whack World back in 2018.
Whack will kick off the release this Friday, January 26 with the project’s first single: “Shower Song.”
The surprise World Wide Whack announcement comes on the heels of a big year for Whack, which saw the viral “Chanel Pit” track drop and the multifaceted artist’s Cypher film garner ample critical praise.
World Wide Whack is slated to drop on Friday, March 15. Stay tuned to Hypebeast for more updates as they emerge.
