Peace of Paradise Properties LLC is hosting the first Another World Music Festival, featuring national and local acts, artists and vendors, Friday, Sept. 15 through Sunday, Sept. 17 in Woodward.
The festival will take place at the Winkleblech Farm, 1104 Pine Creek Road. Tent and RV camping will be available on the festival grounds.
Among the many bands slated to perform is headliner Donna the Buffalo. Over the past 35 years, Donna the Buffalo has recorded more than a dozen albums and built a loyal following while touring the country playing folk rock, country rock, reggae, roots and zydeco. The band is also one of the founders and hosts of Finger Lakes GrassRoots Festival held annually since 1991 near Ithaca, New York..
Another band scheduled to perform is Driftwood, an Americana/folk-rock band from Binghamton, New York, that describes their music as “fusing traditional Americana and with contemporary influences and timeless subject matter.”
Local acts on the lineup include Ted McCloskey & the Hi-Fi’s, Ma’aM, Mama Corn, Blue Junction Transit and Chicken Tractor Deluxe.
Other artists that will perform at the festival include Sim Redmond Band, Gunpoets, Maddy Walsh & The Blind Spots, PA Line, The Narrows, Maddy Walsh & Miami Whizzdom, Kidbess, Dusty Syns, and more.
Food vendors will include Scott’s Roasting, Snyder’s Chicken on a Stick, Snyder’s French Fries, Snyder’s Cinnamon Rolls, Valley Girl Co., Sunflower Cafe, Wendy’s Cookies, Elk Creek Cafe Beer Garden, Pisano Winery, Keystone Cultures and Sunset Slush Happy Valley.
Artist vendors include Walnut Ridge Designs, Heather Scully Photography, Studio 118, Clair Lorts Design, For Claudia’s Sayke, Born Too Late Tie Dyes, AtaraxiaOwl, Sue Salves, Village Eatinghouse, Ashworx and Fractal Color Dye Design.
