After the success of Prada’s fragrance line, we aren’t too surprised with the much-anticipated foray of the brand into the beauty space coming, in fact, this has been on the cards for quite some time. Makeup fanatics are definitely in for a treat as the brand has launched a range of makeup and skincare which includes lipsticks with two different finishes (hyper-matte and soft matte), available in nudes, browns, reds and more. With a chrome finish and luxe aesthetic, the lipsticks are embossed with the brand’s logo.

Apart from the lipsticks, there are also six eyeshadow palettes, each comes with three shades inspired by Prada prints and the signature triangle logo in the packaging. The Reveal Skin Optimising Foundation which comes with multiple swatches is another addition to the makeup line that we can look up to. Moreover, the brand has also introduced three Augmented Skin products, including cream, serum and cleanser that tend to offer elegant formulas and refined textures.
With robust growth in the beauty sector, not just celebrities but luxury fashion houses as well are inclined towards joining the beauty bandwagon, making the sphere quite competitive for new entrants. Bringing their stylish sights to the makeup world, brands like Gucci and Hermes quite recently joined the lineup and brands like Chanel, Dior and more have already set a benchmark with their viral products. Despite having a mega league, Prada’s expansion is comparatively newer in the beauty space, thereby heating up the competition between luxury beauty brands.
